Welcome, to the first official newborn blog post on my new website!
This isn’t something I’ve done much of before so it is all a little daunting for me. I have always dreaded the thought of posting my written words for the world to see, but it’s time to get out of my comfort zone!
What better first entry to my blog is there than sharing some photos of one of my dearest friends newest arrival. π
I love it when friends and family come to me for their photos. Their trust and support towards my career means more than they know. Little Norah was just 8 days new for her photo session. Her Mum, Dad and big brother were smitten with her from the get go and it’s easy to see why. Just look how cute she is!
Claire and Ben welcomed their first born, Lucas, into the world in 2014. Naturally, I took my camera and a light setup round to their home for my first visit to meet him. So you could say that their first born was the beginning of my exciting career taking photos of babies! However, it wasn’t until a year or two later that I realised that is what I wanted to do within photography. It is a very different photography career path from what I originally had set out to do, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Anyway, enough of my ramblings, take a look at some of Norah’s first ever photos.
Norah’s mum is super talented and makes beautiful felt products. I just had to use her little felt stars during this session. Check her out…Β Twine and Grace
