Covid-19 policy statement

1. Studio cleaning

The studio will be deep cleaned using disinfectant and/or steam cleaned before and after every session carried out in the studio. The studio will be aired regularly to minimise any risk. All props and surfaces will be sanitised using appropriate sanitisation methods. All outfits and blankets/layers that are used will be washed after every use.

2. Sickness

Clients will be required to disclose information on their own health along with any of their family members. If anyone coming to the photo session or viewing appointment has had any symptoms relating to but not limited to the Corona Virus appointments will ned to be rescheduled.

Any symptoms such as fever, coughs, sickness or vomiting should be reported to me prior to your session. If you or anyone attending the session/appointment has been in contact with anyone displaying Covid-19 symptoms, suspected of having Covid-19 or has been tested positive for Covid-19 at least 24 hours prior to their session you must inform Amie of Amie McAllister Photography.

3. Time between sessions

In the first stages of my studio reopening only 1 appointment a day will take places. This will ensure there is no unnecessary contact between clients arriving and leaving the premises. This will be monitored as time progresses.

4. Self monitoring

Along with myself, clients will be required to monitor their temperatures and health before coming into the studio. Masks and gloves will be available in the studio should you feel the need to make use of these. If you have your own please bring these along.

5. Hand sanitising

Along with myself, clients will be required to wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds before any session. Appropriate sanitising hand gels and sprays will be made available for use in the studio.

6. Social distancing

Along with myself, clients agree that every effort will be made to keep the social distancing advice at all times where possible. This includes shaking hands and moving/adjusting hair of clothes. Parents may be asked to help move their children and babies as requested by the photographer. During the portrait session instructions to the clients will be given from the distance stipulated by and in accordance with the social distancing rules.

Due to the restrictions imposed by social distancing, it may not be appropriate to offer usual studio sessions and poses, particularly with regard to newborn sessions. Due to safety it may not be possible to carry out these types of sessions where social distancing may not be possible and may need to be slightly different in regards to posing.

7. Covid-19 secure in 2020

A covid-19 secure in 2020 notice will be on display in the studio as a requirement.

8. Risk assessment

An updated risk assessment has been written and completed by Amie of Amie McAllister Photography with regard to distancing and reasonable measures guidance.
