For those who do not know, a Cake Smash session is a session type created as an alternative way to celebrate your little ones birthday. Typically the photo session is carried out as a celebration for a first birthday. However, they are suitable for all birthdays!

Cake Smash session
Capture the special day with a cake smash session. You choose your colour scheme/theme for your session (I also offer birthday portraits, which are cake smash sessions without the mess). Cakes are not included, however I can give guidance for local bakers and types of cakes to bring.
The session will consist of 2 parts; a mini portrait session for the little one in an outfit of your choice and the cake smashing session. I have a small variety of tutus and rompers but it is suggested that you provide the outfits for your session. Cake Smash sessions are no longer than 1 hour.
A one hour studio session
One hour is plenty of time to capture some fun and mess!
Use of studio props
All props such as bunting and balloons are included in this price (helium balloons are not included). A small selection of tutu’s are available but it is advised that you have an outfit or two prepared for your little one.
Colour theme for your background
Colour and themes are to be chosen by you. I will create a backdrop that is specialised for your little one. It is best to let me know a colour theme in advance so that I can prepare your photo session for you.
Family portraits
If you would like to update your family portrait just let me know prior to your session so I can be prepared.
In studio viewing & purchase appointment
You will be invited back to the studio following your session to view the end results from your sitting, you will be shown up to 30 professionally edited images. There is a minimum spend of £200 at this appointment. I offer a range of wall art, albums, prints and digital file packages to choose from. I will help you to choose what products or packages will work best for your home and you.
How much does it cost?
My cake smash session fee costs £40
Products and digitals are not included. These are purchased at your viewing and purchase appointment. Typically my clients spend an average of £700 at a viewing and purchase appointment. There is a minimum spend of £200.
